On #worldsuicideprevention day 10 September but always we encourage you to send a quick voice message to show someone you care, let them hear that they mayyer. Why?

People who consider ending their lives go through distress and then despair where they lose hope. Or they may quickly and impulsively act on a temporary situation with permanent action.
What difference could leaving a voice message make for someone?
- Feeling more cared about and appreciated, it takes effort to leave a voice message.
2. You can convey expression, tone and emotion in a voice message. The person may respond in kind encouraged by you to share their feelings, and they may convey their emotions too.
3. Is a crying emoji evidence of despair, ironic crying, sarcasm? Listening to someone crying, something shifts inside you
4. A voice message from someone you know is real and human. An instant/text message can come from a human but can be misunderstood, lacks tone or emotion or context
5. We’re often time-poor and maybe can’t have a full conversation. So how about this as a middle ground until you have time to share a coffee or whatever you do.
Today, and at other times, leave a voice message and help others feel your connection. We are all pack animals and crave connection whether we think we do or not. Lack of connection links to our evolutionary requirement to stay with the pack and stay safe and protected.
YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOU COULD MAKE.
