Learn more about coping with rejection and criticism – 23 June at midday (BST)

We look forward to bringing you the first of our FREE online HYPERFOCUSED! Hour sessions via Zoom, next Tuesday.

See our new events page on the menu for more info.

We have enlisted the help of ADHD coach and former psychology A Level tutor Becky Durran of Becky Durran Coaching to talk about why RSD happens (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria) and how you can try to cope better with it.

For many of us this can ruin our day and come up unexpected, examples include:

  • Texting/messaging somebody who is a new contact and getting no response (they don’t like me)
  • Being told that your work could be improved by … (they don’t think I am good at my job)
  • Being asked if you need help with something (they don’t trust me to do it)
  • Being invited late to an event/party/concert etc (I am backup because someone must have pulled out)

There are so many more examples and it’s sad as in many cases we are inventing these narratives and not taking time to check out how likely the worst case scenario is. Our nervous systems go into fight or flight and overreact in the circumstances.

It would be great to see you there, you can stay off camera if you prefer. Click here to sign up.
